Pune Management Association is a Local Management Association affiliated to All India Management Association(AIMA). Founded in 1972 by Late Padmabhushan S.L. Kirloskar, Mr. V.S.Vaidya (Swastik Rubber} Mr. C.S.Kirloskar (Kirloskar group) Dr. N.A. Kalyani (Kalyani Group), and Late Mr. C.V.Jog (Bank of Maharashtra), PMA is an independent Trust and Public Society for propagation and transformation of society through Better Management Practices.
PMA is very active in organising programs for the benefit of various sections of the Society as well as Management Professional. It has established various cells like MDP Cell (Management Development Programs), Lady Managers Cell, Students Cell, HR and Trainers Forum, Entrepreneurs and SSI Cell, City Management Group, etc in pursuance of its objectives. PMA organised around 2-3 programs, some of them are paid programs, every month.
PMA has entered into following collaborations/understanding:
Ashoka Training Institute (unit of Ashoka Buildcon Ltd) for various Construction and Real Estate related courses
BITS Pillani thru CDC (Consultancy Development Centre), Delhi for organising their MS (Consultancy Management) programs
BYST (Bharati Yuva Shakti Trust) for organizing Training & Development programs for Entrepreneurs and SSI Officials
Morpheus Global University, (earlier South Asia University) UK as a study centre to promote their MBA programs
